Last year, Kolajna ljubavi participated in the implementation of the Voluntary Agreement "Together against Food Waste", and together with other signatories, we have done great things to prevent food waste in Croatia.

As reported by the Food is Not Waste portal, the share of indicators that have been achieved or partially achieved is 83%, which is an increase of 12%. Furthermore, the average amount of food waste expressed in kg per 100 kg of produced/distributed food has been reduced by 30% compared to 2022.

It unites the achievements of all 36 signatories, and the most significant contribution we as an association have made in the area of ​​education and raising public awareness about preventing food waste.

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, David Vlajčić, also expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved by the project: "I would like to express my satisfaction with the results achieved by the project and thank the signatories for their dedicated efforts in the fight against food waste, and also congratulate them on the results achieved. Food waste is an undesirable phenomenon from an environmental, economic and social perspective, and the Ministry will continue to strongly encourage and implement policies to reduce food waste. I also invite other interested stakeholders who want to contribute to this goal to join the agreement, which is open to new signatories."
